TOWER PEACE AND HARMONY PROJECT
The project was set up in response to our observations over a period of time that squabbles and arguments usually end with abusive language about religious beliefs, namely Islamic worshippers and non Islamic worshippers.
Our aim is to promote and maintain peace and harmony between children and young people of different religious and cultural backgrounds, in Bermondsey & Rotherhithe. We do this by exploring shared religious values and promoting awareness of common ground and mutual respect between people of different faiths in the community.
