THRESHOLD SUPPORT - OPENDOOR DAY CENTRE

The Opendoor Day Centre provides services for residents of Southwark aged 18-65 who live with mental health issues, working with them towards a more healthy, independent and fulfilling life.

Referrals are accepted from CMHTs and other professionals. We maintain a safe and welcoming social environment and provide a range of group activities to develop members skills and interests. Everyone accepted as a member of the day centre has a keyworker who offers practical and emotional support, helping to resolve problems, work towards achieving goals and increasing involvement in the wider community. We have close links with local colleges, vocational projects and volunteering centres.

Members are encouraged to participate in all aspects of the service, from planning their own care, deciding what groups we provide and where we go on outings, to staff recruitment and Trust-wide issues.
