HELPING HANDS CLUB
The club is for young adults and older people with learning difficulties. We meet every Wednesday evening from 6.30pm to 9.30pm for various activities mostly in club: table tennis; snooker; some club members do a little cooking; there are plenty of board games and art activities. We also have a lady teacher who is helping with reading and numeracy for those interested, and sometimes we have a disco evening.
We also sometimes have evenings out at the bowling alley in Surrey Quays, cinema, and an occasional trip to Pizza Hut for a meal. Club subs are £2 per week with a little extra contribution for the outside club activities when they occur.
