DOCKLAND SETTLEMENTS
During 2007 funding was obtained to refurbish the last part of the former warden's house and convert the old upstairs bar area in the main building into community offices.The charity's small Headquarters team has moved from E14 and now runs the Rotherhithe centre.
Our tenants and user groups have continued with us unchanged and thanks to several volunteers, a thriving junior youth club has been established on Friday evenings. Our cub pack on a Wednesday and Tap & Jazz classes on a Thursday have also seen their numbers grow. Eden Healing on a Tuesday evening remains as popular as ever.
The booking of the all weather pitch has increased significantly and is in use five days a week. We still have daytime slots available.
Our plans for the future over the short and medium term are to increase the use of our existing facilities and provide more activities in response to the needs of the local community.
