Alongside full vocation training courses such as "Tools for the Job", we offer a wide range of activities and services for local and Borough wide people. Fully equipped gymnasium,` Old Time Dancing, Family Learning programme, Internet and computers, Ofsted registered Nursery provision, Football Academy, Karate and Aerobics, over 60's Aerobics and craft classes, Parenting Support classes, Youth Offender mediation, African Fashion, PCT` disability/mobility group, Carers group, Pensioners Forum, Bingo, Weight Watchers and Blood Donors service, room/meeting space hire - and much, much more.
Aim & Objectives
To manage, maintain and operate community facilities through a programme of educational, cultural, social and recreational activities in order to improve the quality of life of residents in the area of benefit with emphasis on individuals and groups who have least access to resources e.g. unemployed, black and ethnic minority groups, people with disabilities and the elderly.
The Beormund is an approved OCR provider able to offer OCR qualifications.
